Has anyone had any experience within this one?

I have checked some reviews in YouTube, but it seems there are some issues with the antena as per Amazon.

Cheers,

I have "I think" checked-out every Isolo review and they're all positive. Sure and at home in studio appraisal may end up different to a live venue performance but for the best part the Isolo seems a pretty darn good option. IF being used outdoors or indoor venue performance the potential interferance of a myriad of active bluetooth / WiFi enabled devices is real. But...I think I'm gonna' buy one - with the directional antenna.

Yeah, I was thinking the same, if ordered, to add the antenna to the cart.

I've been interested in this product. After many years my trusty Shure wireless system is acting up; suddenly needing to be re-paired on every gig. It still works, but I figure that's a harbinger of things to come....It's sad to hear there are problems with the Isolo. Poor transmission / reception in live venues is a deal breaker for this product. I know some folks use wireless mics at home but I don't get it. A good condenser, ribbon, or even many dynamic mics (think RE20) are going to far out-preform a clip-on in the studio.

So far, so good. Only 4 gigs with the Prime but I’m happy with it. The latest - shown here was at an outdoor festival. The other 4 were indoors. Two in an suburban strip mall restaurant. One in a extremely densely populated lounge - the bar in a Westin hotel. Another in a downtown club. No interference / connectivity issues.

It’s handy to have basic efx on the receiver. One less thing to carry/connect.
I have the extended range antenna but haven’t tried it yet.

Haven’t wandered too far from the receiver - probably 30-40 ft or so.

The sound is pretty good as well. For reference I’ve had an AKG C409, a really old A/T clip on and a Samson.

Fingers crossed - but I’m happy.

Thanks for the reply. Sounds like it’s worth the investment then. I currently use the Samson airline 77 which has been ok and lasted a long time. Which Samson model did you have? How do the 2 compare?

So far I'm happy. I've had the Samson Stage 22, the Samson Airline 77 and the Samson AWX and briefly had an AudioTechnica rig decades ago. Always wanted to try the Shure and AMT based setups but never have. I like the Prime sound better than the Samson’s but the AWX is pretty close.

I like the efx of the Prime. I liked the clip better on the Samson AWX. My clip on the 77 failed but that was an easy diy replacement.

I have been using the iSolo wireless sax mic for several months now. I can quickly move easily between the tenor, alto, and soprano because they all have the little velcro clip on the bells. The velcro diminishes mechanical noise. I have used it in all types of venues indoor and outdoors. Great little lightweight mic for live gigs. I charge it up using the usb cable before gigs and it has lasted through 4 hour gigs. I do turn it off if I take breaks. I like it.

Any updates on issues with the Prime I am contemplating buying one. I would appreciate recent users feed back and any problems with interference or durability?

Someone’s selling one of these in the marketplace for what looks like a decent discount off new, I think it’s the prime model. These mics look nice and I like the idea of on-board basic effects

I haven't tried it myself, but I play regularly with a trumpeter who has been using one for about a year I think, and he loves it. He plays in a couple of pro bands where several other musicians are using wireless mics, iems etc and says he's had no issues with interference, dropping out etc. He's got the one with the added effects, it looks pretty fun.

I have been doing a lot of solo cocktail sets in very large venues and landed a steady gig at a high-end mall, which pays $175.00 for an hour three times a week I can slip out and do it in my lunch hour as I work from home most days.
The idea of being completely unplugged along with a battery pack speaker is very tempting. I have been renting one.
Plus I am doing more DJ gigs that require me to go on the dance floor and the Christmas gigs are coming in. It may be time to light up one of my saxes. Shudder!

I am also looking at a page-turning pedal for my iPad so I would appreciate recommendations.

To have my complete kit so light and compact for travel on transit and to set up for a one or two-hour gig would be a huge asset.

Still happy with this unit. EFX sound good and I don’t need a separate unit which is very nice. My biggest gripe is being addressed. Never liked the clip. I find it awkward to change back and forth between horns which I do frequently.

Cloudvocal has listened and is launching a proper clip so I’ll be ordering one. I thought I had some drop out issues crop up but they turned out to be related to my power bank, not the Cloudvocal.

Absolutely love that this unit can be powered by a small power bank instead of needing ac power.
