This is a fairly recent series of horns. Have you tried exercising the search function?

I played a couple of the altos and tenors at NAMM several years ago. They're the only instruments I've ever played that made me contemplate switching from my beloved 82z. I think they were designed and developed by the guy who designed the 82z, so... I suppose it makes sense that I'd love these horns! They're some of the best I've ever played. Not cheap, though.

I own an alto (selling to pay for grad school, unfortunately) and they are GREAT! Well built and have a classic sound. I could send you some sound samples if you'd like.

I've played quite a few Asian horns in my life. I think Ishimori is among the best of them.

I play one as my main tenor. An unlacqered no F# version. I was very skeptical of the price at first. It took me about 5 minutes or less to fall in love with it. The tuning is amazing and the keywork stellar. It is one of the best examples of proper work from people who know how to put the horn together and adjust it properly. That being said know that that means it isn’t build quality per se (though that is very nice as well). It is the know how of having a proper tech setup a horn and get proper parts in the process. It is very reminiscent of an SBA. Harmonically, I am able to hit 5th octave altissimo on with overtones on multiple mouthpieces of multiple styles. Sub tones well and the action is incredible fast and crisp with that proper pop to the keys. I know Paul Maslin looked over mine when I got it and made sure everything was good as well. No changes just an excellent horn. I do tend to like my springs maybe a little tighter but I’m not changing anything. Like I mentioned earlier, it’s been my main horn for over 6 months at this point.
