Going from a Martin Committee I am finding my Yani to be slightly stuffy. I don't believe it's really leaking but I think it just plays with a little resistance. How free-blowing are Yanis?

I tried a Yani tenor at a music educator's conference several years ago. I found it to be very resistant, but that was my only experience. Maybe it was leaky, who knows?

I'm taking it into a different tech today, so hopefully if there are any issues with the setup it will be sorted out soon. I figure it might naturally be a little resistant anyway, but at this point I'm pretty sure it needs some fine-tuning. When it gets back this time I hope it will play less stuffy, but we'll see.

In my experience, horns with smaller bores modelled after Selmer have more resistance than some of the big-bore American horns.
