Hi
I am looking forward to buy an Otto link 5 or 5* for my tenor, and just came across this one (I know it's a 4*, but for the sake of identification). I know on the box it says "tenor", but isn't it to short? It looks like an alto piece, doesn't it? I'm relatively new to saxophone, and never seen an otto link in reality.
Here is the ad:

Thank you

It looks like a 1980's tenor piece that has been cut shorter at the shank. That should have no effect on its sound, but it may be a issue if it wants to sit more outwards on your sax's neck cork. Without enough cork surface for it to grab to, it could wobble or even fall off the neck. I wouldn't consider buying it without trying it first to see whether that is an issue.

Here is how it should look like before cut. Note the tip opening is stamped on the part that was removed.

I bought pretty much the same MPC new from Amazon 4 years ago for $120.- Even the packaging is identical so I'd wager it is a 2015 ish piece that was refaced and cut, probably to fit on a c-mel. I'd pay no more than 20 € for that piece.
