It's a Couesnon alright, but no idea if it's a Monopole I or II. Regardless, those are excellent horns. The serial on these is not in the usual place IIRC.

It’s the “basic” model, not the Monopole. It misses the front F key as well as the switchable G#-C# articulation.

Indeed, basic model. The consevatoire was the extra de luxe model.I am also puzzled by how the lower part of the saxophone body was de-silvered. That would devalue seriously this horn.
