Hmmm, seen a lot of PanAm C-Mel's (and owned a couple) - but I've never seen a PanAm C like this with B/Bb on the same side of the bell, or Front-F !

I'd go for (Bb) Tenor :dazed: , what with the bottom leg of the B guard being literally on the bow joint... Probably 30's ? Maybe even just a tad newer than that, despite the wire guards etc., as it doesn't have all those vintage features that we just love - like G# trill and forked Eb :-(

Amazing how so many pictures can tell so little !

Seller says it's 28 or 29 inches from the bottom of the bow to the plug, so it;s a tenor. If the serial number is a normal Conn number, it places the horn around 1923. (I realize the numbering can be problematic with a stencil, tho.)

Yep, it's a tenor, and (as you say) even Conn PanAm's don't use the standard Conn serial number lists. 30's (at least) with that front-f.

Go on, you know you want it ! :lick:
