Is switiching to tenor sax hard

is switching to tenor sax hard from the trumpet. I currently play the trumpet in the 9th grade. is the same amount of air needed. My friends say you dont have to change your embouchure to play different notes which i think might be easier.

They are very different instruments and successful doublers are really quite rare. Benny Carter is one famous one. A second is gary :)twisted::mrgreen:).

Actually, I don't think it's clear what you are intending, OP. Are you giving up the trumpet or intending to double trumpet and sax?
