To the best of my recollection, StrongD (the best alto player I've heard on this site (the best tenor player is Frank D, btw) works in a Minnesota at a music store...I'm not sure how close it is to the Twin Cities though.

Thanks for the references, @pitsen3, as it happens I was born in Mpls and the first place I looked up was Schmitt (they were there 50+ years ago) but the sax shop web is closed or was when I looked yesterday. There's a good calendar here: http://www.jazz88.fm/live-music-calendar/
