I have a King Tempo Alto which I am playing with a Otto Link STM.

The Problem: "A" (in both octaves) is VERY flat in relation to the other notes

Apart from this, this setup plays exceptionally well in tune.

The only idea I have is to ask my tech to adjust the "G" key to open more.

Anybody have any other ideas?

Thanks.

(BTW, this is the horn that I posted about being extremely mouthpiece picky)

Raising the key on the G is the best answer. If that doesn't help, you can retune the G hole by adding cork or similar to the lower inside of the hole. This tends to make the center of the G hole higher thus sharpening the A. The hard part is that you need to keep removing the G key to do this. If all else fails, hold the G# key down on A.
