Hey,

I'm doing a DipABRSM and I'm playing:

Light of Sothis by Amy Quate
Sonata by Lawson Lunde
Tableaux de Provence by Paule Maurice

I need to write programme notes for my recital but I've had a hard time finding information about the pieces and composers. I was wondering if anyone could help me out or at least tell me where to look - even my local copyright library doesn't seem to have anything!

Light of Sothis was written for, and beautifully recorded by, Debra Richtmeyer. You can find it on Mark Custom MCD-1806, released in 1995. The booklet has notes on the work and on the composer.

As part of my coursework, I had to write a short paper on Tableaux recently, I will email it to you if you PM me an addy.

While it's a short paper, it's still too long to put in a post, but can be sent in the body of an email.
