Fellow SOTW'ers-
After years of frustration and countless broken reeds, at 7:55 pm CST, at my home in the Dallas suburb of Rowlett, TX, I, Joey Resendez, was able to perform a slap tongue (was that a run-on?). I would like to thank Erik Ronmark, Z Marshall Ignas, and many others whose advice helped me achieve this monumental step in my quest as a saxophonist. I do realize that I still have a long road ahead of me in mastering all the aspects of slap tongue (i.e. speed, alternating between slap and regular) but I feel that this will fall into place in due time.
I bid you all good evening and best wishes.
If anybody wants me, I'll be practicing Jungle.
