With my flute teacher I'm working on adding chromatic steps between chord tones in a variety of ways. (using the new/old straubinger head, loving it) I started thinking this is way easier than it should be. Then I remembered all the work I did out of STEVE Neffs book on mastering the V7 scale on sax years ago. Many patterns I"m redicovering in my current lesson with Katisse are patterns I worked out years ago. very cool, glad I did the work out of that book on sax. I'll post a video later but its all good. back to the shed. K (Ive been self isolating for years ) K

Well, at this point it's just fingerings, if you have the sound you want to make already in your head.

That's when the valve seal on cylinder no. 8 leaks and fouls the spark plug. The semi-burned oil and gas mixture leaves a residue in the combustion chamber and on the top of the piston; that's V7 scale.

What is a V7 scale?
Major bop scale for a dominent chord. Mix scale with added major 7th as passing tone. easier to hear than read. You know all this stuff Pete!!! K
