Hey, just trying to figure out what this is, any input would be appreciated. It's plastic, not rubber. The guy I got it from said he bought it because it was advertised as a Paul Desmond model, so I was thinking it may be a NETE Model 67, but I haven't been able to find any pictures of that mouthpiece. No markings anywhere on the piece.

Sure looks like an unfinished blank to me.

Its off the machine with no finish work.

It may have potential. Does it actually play ok?

Yeah, it plays all right. Its a bit stuffy, but keep in mind I'm using reeds that I worked down to play on a Meyer 6M, and this feels like has a smaller tip opening that that. I could get by playing on it as is if I had to. Chamber's also square-ish, check out the picture, it describes it far better than I ever could.
