Identify C Melody mouthpiece?

So this was funny.
I am rehabbing a C Melody that is at the Tech's place now so I can't try this.
I actually have a Caravan mouthpiece arriving soon and I get my C Melody back on Saturday

But cleaning out storage, I found an old Martin mouthpiece that I thought was an Alto.
On the box it says Tenor Saxo, then handwritten "VT" (I think) x C Melody

Here's a pic of it next to a Tenor Tone Edge for comparison.
There is also an x marking on the mouthpiece
What is it?

Nice!
My daughter studies Latin....
From Wiki
From Latin ut, from the first word of Ut queant laxis, the medieval hymn which solfège was based on because its lines started on each note of the scale successively.
