Houston Person has a splendid tone and plays with great style. He would make one of many greats to help build your tonal conception. The more you listen and practice fundamentals, the more the tone takes the shape you desire.

Wow! Way cool. Nice to be in NY where great jazz is always no more than a subway stop or two away. Last time I was there I saw Oscar Peterson at the Blue Note. That tells you how long its been....

Can we all hold hands and pray to the saxophone gods to grant me this one simple wish? Thanks :walk:
Finally!

A more realistic way (to get the sound of your idol) than buying the same mouthpiece and ligature :)
