I see she plays with Terri Lyne Carrington, a drummer who came up with a very nice rendition of Blackbird some years ago. Have it on cassette somewhere. Worth catching.

Grace Kelly played at the Regattabar in Cambridge last night. She played a very nice set. Did a fine duet with John Lockwood on Round Midnight. She also is a nice singer with a pleasant, if not remarkable voice. She scats well and writes pretty convincing songs for a 15 year old. It was also interesting how she is working on the balance of being an emerging artist with quite decent chops, with being an attractive young woman and trying to work the commercial side with her tween song patter. I think she has a bright future.
