Yes, KW is the man. I don't have time to find the link, but you should do a search for him on YouTube and check out the clip of "Always There (Casino Lights)" with Kenny Garrett, KW, and Boney James. Of course, KW and Kenny put Boney to shame, and KW is groovin'. I ought to head on over to Memphis and pay him a visit.

Oh, I have the whole DVD and love it to death. His performance of Soweto and Cold Duck Time... Wooo... After seeing him live in Nashville, I came back telling everyone Kirk was "The Truth" lol. He's really the man... Just an awesome musician and one of the best people you could ever meet. How many other musicians would even take out the time to have a biweekly chat to answer questions and allow people to get to know him. Amazing... definitely one of my favorite people.

I'm diggging that!!!!! Solo and putting it out there. Kind of annoying people are talking a few feet away from him. He has a really thick full tone. I wish there were more whole albums put out in this vein.

Here is the Always There (Casino Lights)

Yea, I love this clip, because you can hear his tone with minimal effects and it's not so different from what you hear recorded. He definitely has a sound/tone unlike any other.

Man, thanks so much for posting this! I haven't seen this yet, and it's one of the highest quality videos I've seen of Kenny on youtube with a killer solo. Thanks again!
