It’s been months and months of grinding and honking my low Bb but I finally started getting my overtones consistently. Any advice on continuing past the 4th overtone? Should I keep my throat open as I go?
I can finally play overtones!

Are you using a book to help you study?
What's your equipment set up? Some mouthpieces lend themselves to playing overtones better than other. And how long have you been playing?
For me I find that it's more about directing the air stream and keeping the air pressure inside your mouth stable.
