The Gerald Albright series differs from other stone series only because of the hand-engraving on the bell, and (presumably Gerald's) choice of finish. I'm of the opinion that finish doesn't really affect tone, but opinions on this vary widely.

IMO, you're limiting your pool of potential instruments to purchase dramatically, by insisting on the Albright model. Just look for a stone series tenor in very nice shape.
