Amen to that. Hubert Sumlin was one of the Picassos of the Blues!

I'm glad Mr Sumlin lived for 80 years and got recognized for his unique and vital playing. I had the good fortune to hear him live a few years ago and while there were some other good guitarists on the bill none could compare to him, they all knew it too. A truly great player.

I'm glad Mr Sumlin lived for 80 years and got recognized for his unique and vital playing.
Amen. It was really nice to see him invited to the Antigua Crossroads project by Eric Clapton only a couple years ago.

Respect.
