Hello, I recently mixed up all of my tenor and bass clarinet reeds and need to separate them all, help? There is:
3 Vandoren #3 reeds
2 Rico Royal #3 reeds
2 short Rico Royal #2.5 reeds
1 tall Rico Royal #2.5 reed

They all look nearly identical and need help separating them, help?

I haven't used Bass Cl reeds in a while, but I think the shorter reeds would be Tenor. Fit the shorter ones on your tenor mpc and see how they work.

I thought people switched reeds around all the time depending on preference? Like Clarinet reeds on Soprano mpc's etc. So try them and use whatever works/you like?

Bass CL. Reeds are shorter, Tenor reeds are cut longer to the tip, with a different slope. While tenor reeds play pretty well on Bs.CL. for me it's never worked out the other way around.................................................................................

Sop. reeds are wider and have a shorter cut than cl. reeds and don't work well at all
