Hello everyone,
could anyone let me know if the new Selmer alto soloist mouthpiece has the engraved sentence "made in france" on the mouthpiece. I see the new alto selmer soloist mouthpiece in the shop, it just has the Selmer logo without the sentence "made in france". I don't know if it is the fake one.
By the way, please give me the true picture of new Selmer alto soloist mouthpicture via my email [email protected].
Thanks a lot for your help.

there should be a made in france stamp in the hard rubber itself if you are talking of a modern soloist (and as far as I remember also older ones!) sometimes the stamp can be very faint

that the one on the picture is what it should look like, however if someone wanted to make a fake would not omit the made in france stamp so it could be just a piece that went unstamped but made by Selmer

I am looking at my current-issue Selmer Soloist alto mouthpiece. It has "MADE IN FRANCE" stamped in individual letters below the wreathed and highlighted "Henri Selmer Paris (trademark) F", on the front of the mouthpiece. DAVE
