Yikes....

I was moving some gear and dropped a new Signature Bari reed.
I found it after a good 20 minutes of crawling around with a flashlight (I didn’t know where on my path I had dropped it).

It was on a painted concrete speckled garage floor...really hard to see.
Does anyone add a colored marker to their reeds?

I bought one of these for my 3 Legere Bari reeds (Different Strengths) but I don't think that will solve a dropping them and seeing thing. I actually find lining them up on the sides and tip a little difficult as they're clear. I wish they would put some sort of light tan pigment in their reeds.

Yep...
The Hemp or Black and White Fiberreed are easy to deal with.

I put a little (half inch square) label on with the date I started using them. It helps me tell them apart in my reed case and would also help find them if dropped.

By the way...this seems like a bad idea for softening a synthetic reed....but it works
