Hey, Folks

Gather 10 sax players and you'll have 11 different ways to break in and take care of your reeds.
I've tried many of them.
Here's the system I use:

It's easy, straight-forward, and helps my reeds play well and last long. And it's economical.

Anybody else use a similar approach?

i must admit ,,ive never gone much into the process of soaking ,conditioning , but the process described looked straightforward and madea lot of sense!..normally i soak a reed that is hard initially to playonly a few minutes, then give it a try,ile experiment with the conditioning though to see how that goes, the process could speed up the break in thanks for sharing!.
