I am looking for a florida link 7* or 8, I've been browsing ebay and actually found they all look the same thing. With NY link, it has NY stamped on it and it says on the box too, how bout this one?

Thanks in advance, appreciate your help

My Florida no-usa STM is not that bright. But it does have a "core" to the sound that I don't get with the modern Links.

If you want dark, the new STM NY models are the way to go. But you may want to have it refaced. Besides the often-uneven rails and non-flat table, the rails are a bit thick and can reduce responsiveness some. All this can be easily fixed by a good reface man (or woman).

how to tell if your Link is a Florida piece;

hold it up to your ear and listen if you hear the ocean it probably is

I have the new NY model thats why I want to get the florida for my collection but cant still figure out which one, I like dark sound. Heard the USA model has the best projected sound. Is it true?
