It came back from the tech and seemed to be okay but a few days later it appears some things may have shifted. What can I do on my own without taking it back in?
Thanks, a leak light would be a good to have. I tried to do some repairs myself by glueing on a piece of cork, turned out I bent the keys by doing this (and playing it afterward.) My tech straightened it out and it played much better afterwards. Sorry for starting a new thread, I was panicking a bit but just needed to take it in.you can buy a leak lamp and check youself but you should bring it back and talk to your tech, don't try to fix this yourself
please, look up things like this, we have an incredible amount of posts kept at great cost in voluminous archives , besides it is not so that opening a new thread (on a matter that is hardly new, is any less visible than continuing one (it will go in the " New active threads" anyway, if you continue an old thread you will get also the attention of the members who have participated and are still around because they get an alert)
These are just two of the threads which may fit your bill, there are many more
