:faceinpalm::faceinpalm: You have your left hand and right hand on the wrong side. Left hand to the lower register and the right has to be at the upper register. And they said I wouldn't learn anything about the sax:badgrin::badgrin:

This is original. I have reviewed this with a high powered magnifying glass. no signs of repair. Original silver plating still intact. I have never seen another. That's why I was asking....still looking.

Here are my original documenting pictures.
That is clearly damage and bent beyond where it should be. The outer pieces should line up with the slot. They don't. It's bent. You can see the distortion on the top and how one side is pulled out of position.

I don't disagree with your observation. However when you see it in person you would question the possibility it's original.
