Hi everyone:

I've just note that the way to do overtones on a Hohner President (TENOR) is not the same as shown in common overtones charts. (I checked it yesterday with my luthier). I.E the F# goes without the front F key. Can anyone confirm that?

I would appreciate very much if you can tell me how you do the overtones on your Hohner President (Obviously if you have a Hohner president or know how to do it on this sax)

THANKS,

Are you looking for altissimo fingerings?

Aye Carumba! They are a bugger aren't they.
For F# I use Front F,side Bb, F, Eb -1,1, side Bb & side Eb
For G I lip down 1,3, side C, F - 1,3,1,side C
Haven't found a stable useful Ab yet
A and up seem to work with the standard fingerings.

Good luck.
