A classic Spike Jones clip, with a useful new way of balancing brass instruments about halfway through. But take a look at the sax section from about 55 seconds in...


A good one for livening up Mustang Sally in your function band...

Boy, that brings back some memories! I'd never seen that tune before. My favorite SJ disc was "Dinner Music for People Who Aren't Hungry". He always had such fine musicians.

Thanks for posting that. I'll bet that at the end of the show when the credits ran, you'd see, "Musical instruments by C.G. Conn and Smith and Wesson." I remember that from my younger days watching the Spike Jones show on TV. DAVE
