Hello members,

I wanted to ask if someone can give me an idea of what a BD Zimberoff " House of Note " alto mp is worth? It's a nice playing mp and it's marked a 3*, but feels in .070 range.

I honestly have no idea. Having said that, the tenor versions of this 'piece go for (what I think are) stupid amounts of money. Realizing that really has no bearing on what your alto 'piece is worth, I'd say if it's truly a solid playing mouthpiece and it looks to be in very good, original condition.....if it was me, I'd ask around $175 for it. That is, if you want to sell it. If you want to hang on to it for a long time, ask $4-600. ;-)

jgreiner, Thank you for you input.. highly appreciated! No plans on selling it at this point.. it's a nice playing mp. I haven't come across a mp with such a strong taste, until now. I'm not sure, but should I be concerned?

You can sell it for $350 or so.

you can find similar ones (in similar state) on line , whether they asking price remains to be seen, a friend of mine always says you have one and you only need one buyer

10mfan/milandro, Thank you for your input! I just sent my horn out for a full overhaul, so I'm going to have to wait to get a good feel for the mp.
