Be carefull!!
That horn needs a lot of work and its not that great to begin with. The sax is Italian made if I remember correctly? If you buy an ebay bari, expect to do pad and body work and make sure the neck is ok. That can be a real big problem.

York horns were made in the USA. Many in Grand Rapids MI.
If you've got about $500 to put it in GPC it might be a decent horn.
You would be better off looking for something a little 'newer' and in better condition.

I am sure this horn wasn't made by York but it is a stencil, I also think that it is worth repairing and it isn't actually in too bad a shape compared to lots of school band horns that you see out there.

I disagree on the Italian attribution of this horn. There is another one here by the way.

http://luvsaxbarimuch.blogspot.com/ but the owner hasn't many clues about it either.

I am sure this is a Malerne Artist bariton as you can see here http://www.saxpics.com/?v=gal&a=5224 it is rather obvious if you compare the key guards and other elements
