Good morning! I'm right now in boston waiting to come in new york for a week-trip..can you suggest me a place or a shop in which to go for trying and maybe buying vintage saxophone mouthpiece in like selmer short shank or old vintage otto link?

Roberto's is as yet the only game in town really for vintage mouthpieces (gimme a few more years to build my collection!), although IMHO some of them are priced 2x what they go for on ebay. Granted, you can try the piece first unlike ebay, but yikes- sometimes.


Self promotion:

I have a few- not many- mouthpieces with me in the shop at Sam Ash on 48th. Anything that is on my website (link below in my signature) will be at the Sam Ash shop when I am working, so if anything interests you there, I am 2 blocks from Roberto's.

Okay, you've got to go out to New Jersey. Bob Ackerman has the best selection of mouthpieces at reasonable $$$. USA horn also has a bunch of mouthpieces floating around in drawers.

Rent a car and make a day of it. Call first.
