Help Finding Out the Date of Couesnon Alto

Hi,
I need help finding out the production year of a Couesnon alto. On the bell, it says Couesnon Paris Monopole Conservatoire. Underneath the inscription is a picture of what appears to be to chicken heads with an axe between and above the two.

I found the serial number around the F key; it is #9743. Everywhere I looked has had no information on the production year of this serial number.

Does anyone know the year for this sax and serial number?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The Couesnon factory burned and all the serial records were lost. It gets worse since the serials are not necessarily sequential. They started over once or twice. Assuming that the address on the bell is 105 Rue Lafayette, yours is probably from the 50s or 60s.
Is there any engraving on the bell? What finish is it? Does it have rolled tone holes? Can you post some pictures?
