Spherical Agenda is a jazz fusion outfit from the Cincinnati made up of some excellent musicians, including Brandon Scott Coleman on guitar. They asked Brian Donohoe (aka HeavyWeather77) to play some tenor on a track that just came out on bandcamp. Check it out!!!

Spherical Agenda will be appearing with Brian's band Progger and Chantae Cann at One-2-One in Austin on July 16. Might as well mention that too. Here's a link to that as well. If you haven't checked out either of these bands, I highly recommend it!

That's some pretty damn good stuff. I was prepared to be underwhelmed, but I really enjoyed that track. Thanks for sharing, and kudos to HeavyWeather77!

Thanks for sharing! It’s always cool to hear the good local stuff from other regions...lots of really great acts out there that never get heard outside their home area. The only critique I have would just be a personal preference thing, but I wish they’d have had the sax double, harmonize, and counter some of those melodies. Solid groove and playing all around.

Maybe Brian can share the backstory on how that came about, his playing on that track.

I enjoy Brandon's guitar playing, looking forward to hearing more from him and Spherical Agenda. His album Infinite Loop is really good, I think you can get it on Bandcamp and iTunes. Of course the Progger stuff is all on Bandcamp too.
