I just saw him play two sets during the run at the BlueNote in NYC the weekend before last. He was in fine form. He will most completely be in my thoughts.

I had a chance to talk to Bill Frisell about Lee's condition. He says that Joey Baron has spoken to Lee who is recovering well and is in good spirits. He has family and friends with him for support. The biggest problem now is that his doctors don't want him to fly for another five weeks!
