Howdy, SOTW! It's been a while since we posted a new video, so here's a slow-jam for your steamy August. "Haunt" is definitely the most ambient and vibey track we've recorded, I daresay, and I hope you dig it.

This one features the wonderful guitarists Carter Arrington and Dan Muniz, bassist Nick Clark, keyboardist Isamu McGregor, drummer Devin Collins, and myself on tenor saxophone, and we actually go a little bit jam band at the end, believe it or not.

All of the effects on my saxophone are real-time, not post-production, courtesy of some of my favorite EarthQuaker toys, particularly the Transmisser and Space Spiral.

Happy hawt August!

Thanks, all! This is definitely an unusual tune for Progger but I'm really happy how it worked out. Incidentally, for ye effects pedal enthusiasts out there, the two main pedals I use on this track for the super long, creepy reverb and delay trails are also two of the pedals I've done demo videos for. I absolutely love them, and the company that makes them is full of great people who are genuinely passionate musicians. Here they are, in case you're curious...

The "Transmisser" is the reverb pedal that makes beautiful, creepy, and insanely long reverb trails that basically turn your sound into a long synth pad (and that you can shape with filters, like a synth!):

The "Space Spiral" is a great delay pedal with beautiful modulation that can get really insane if you want it to:
