Potter was playing a Link (no surprise there) when I saw him play with Dave Binney's group at the 55 Bar a couple weeks ago. He sounded incredible but he definitely wasn't playing the AMMA. Maybe it was a Theo-tweaked Link, I know he's used them in the past.

I think that Chris Potter's switch over to the AMMA is a pretty recent development (like within the last week or so).

If true, that's hardly long enough to say whether he likes it (and will stick with it)--unless of course someone has talked to him in person, and he's foaming at the mouth over it....
