Hi over the years I have ended up with four of these original ligs.Two gold plated stamped C, one of them the C is backwards. One silver stamped C. But the other is stamped A2, which appears to be just brass and not gold plated, where all the A2 ligs like this. racer.

I have had several of these over the years for alto going back to the late 1970's. They are great but they always broke. I have one left for soprano that I have had soldered twice to fix. The Rico H is close but not quite the same. Never seen the bare brass one. I have seen NOS ones occasionally at some local music stores.

All Harrison ligatures came in different finishes, gold, silver and no plating. So no, all A2 were not like the ones you have, just some.
