Got way too busy to get anything together before Christmas, but finally got a little horn time in today.

Always liked this Frank Loesser classic, this was first time I tried my hand at this one...the modulation in the biab arrangement caught me by surprise at the end.

What Are You Doing New Year's Eve?

Enjoying Greg Fishman's Two For Brazil Christmas cd lately, got the idea to put a little samba on this one, with one of my usual 2 chord vamp things...no Guy Lombardo vibrato here!
Auld Lang Samba

Struggling a little with pitch, guess that's a by-product of hardly playing over the last several weeks. That's a brand new V16 (3 1/2) on my Saxscape FatCat proto this time...

appreciate the feedback and encouragement! got me playing a bit more with some time off.

while i may have a slight leak, the low note thing is mostly bad habit coming back. dropping the jaw (also contributes to pitchiness).

Agree with Wade, Shawn. The second take was good. It almost sounded like the Berg was pushed in just a little more. I really like some of those improv licks. Nice ideas!

All the best to all of my friends this year!

Regards,
George
