Well I have a sore throat and cough so I cancelled performing oh well . I could have played I guess but my girl said you are working on Monday in your real job unless you can't move lol . So instead of performing on a noisy cold smoky club I cancelled . lol

Always a drag to cancel a gig. I've played more than once with a cold though and wouldn't cancel for that reason. Then again, none of the clubs, blues or otherwise, in Calif allow smoking. Man am I thankful for that!!!!

If it were me, I'd do the gig and call in sick to the day job (if I had one, lol). Your girl has it completely backwards...

If you're in a smokey club in Canada, the club is on fire.
If you're in a smokey club in Amsterdam and you're on fire . . . it doesn't even matter. :mrgreen: :hippy2:
