Since I can't play for about a week and a half, I'm going to use this break as an opportunity to take my horns into the shop for a checkup. I've been too busy to be able to do either thing (extraction and horn maintenance) so this seems like the right time. I've got plenty of Vicodin. I just wish the Novocaine would wear off so I could eat something. I'm starving.I have stitches that I'll have taken out next Wednesday and I've been told to try to resume a relatively normal diet starting tomorrow.
I'm still numb. I am getting feeling back but it's slow going. I had 3 shots of Novocaine on each side. Then I had to get two more shots only left side after he started. So really, my right side feels kind of normal but my left side is lagging behind. I was able to eat some Ramen but I couldn't chew that well and just ended up swallowing a lot of the noodles unchewed.
