I'll be with the Naptown Brass Band this Saturday, November 3rd in the annual Eastport/Annapolis Tug of War. I'll be on the Eastport side playing "at the crack of noon". They basically string a rope across the harbor and they have at it; all the while drinking and eating to one's heart's content. Though this has been going on a while, it's my first time attending. I'm rather torn having been born on the Annapolis side, but now residing within the Eastport zip code. But this I know... the Eastport side will be more fun. More loose. And more spirited than the rather commercially exploitative Annapolis side.

Seems like a fun event! I used to have to drive in to Annapolis for work, back when I was a Marylander. It's a nice town.
