Any of you unix geeks out there know of troff/groff preprocessors for typesetting music? If not, looks like a project for me... :)

Thanks SassenachSax. I know of both, but MusicTeX suffers from a severe case of TeX bloat, and lilypond seems to be GUI-based. Just wondered if there was anything lightweight in the Kernighan/Pike way of doing things. I guess I'll have to roll my own.

Anyone got any pointers to or opinions about what would be desirable in a very lightweight music setting language (along the lines of pic, grap, eqn and co...)?
