I have become a little obsessed with greg abate and I was wondering your guys' opinions on what tunes specifically I should get from him. I'm kinda strapped for cash and can't buy them all, so opinions on his best tunes to buy would be great!

I can't seem to take it out of my CD changer. From the Heart is a gorgeous ballad with only Greg playing.

I was unaware of this guy until he and Cole came to town a couple of months ago. Now I'm in the process of buying everything I can find.

Agreed. Greg is a wonderful muscian.

I had the privilege of working with him some when I was in college in RI (early 1980s). The album with Richie Cole is great, but I also recommend the album Straight Ahead. He is very consistent, so it is hard to go wrong.
