I like my Hiscox Pro II tenor case but I HATED the shoulder strap. I bought another from Amazon but it wasn't much better. Then I was buying a carryon case from Tom Bihn - I've been using their excellent messenger bags for years - and I noticed their "Absolute Strap" and thought I'd try it. Not only does the strap "say put" on the shoulder, I'll swear it makes the case 5 lbs. lighter. Highly recommended. My adjustment was to take up virtually all the slack on one end of the strap (the "narrow end" of the case) and let the other end out all the way.

Very interesting, I bought a strap off of Amazon which works better than the original one. I just bought a artist tenor case and will order one. I have a Mark VI and founds that the Key Leave Gap Cap adjust to perfectly snug the horn in the case.

I have a Tom Bihn backpack i use as a laptop bag for work that expands enough for me to travel in for an entire week (I am a very efficient packer).
Tom Bihn has the single most amazing quality on the planet when it comes to all things backpacky and strapy.
And it all comes with a lifetime warranty (not that I will ever need it).
Good stuff, will order a strap myself, never thought of looking to him!

It's a little confusing because all their straps are described on that page. The Absolute Strap spec is "Double-coated heavy duty metal snaphooks made in USA especially for TOM BIHN". They're very strong and secure.
