I decided to take it to the shop.

I think our work here is done, unless y'all want a follow-up report when I get the horn back. Thanks to everyone for their contributions! You may now ride triumphantly into the virtual sunset.

The ebolin special is a students version of the evolin. It was only made in one small tip size and no bite plate.
Dont feel bad about the green inside the neck. When I clean mine i get black/brown. All the residue of mouthpiece dust from play testing pieces as I finish them.

I saw Getz in 81 at the Majestic opening for Sarah Vaughn. Definitely looked and sounded like he was playing a HR Link.

For me, Getz was special more for his style than his sound. I knew lots of guys that got a similar tone, but no one played like him.
