Wow - I've never heard anything like this. The sax player treads very lightly, but really does add significantly to the written chant and choral pieces.

+1 to Hawk! He has quite a few videos on the 'tube.
You might also search Jentezen Franklin. He's a pastor so he usually has a few words before the tunes and he also sings as well as plays.

I came across Angelo Torres and his band (currently learning this song I'm playing in church next weekend)... wow (from the 2:00 mark onwards). They have a bunch of videos up on his official YT channel as well.


He plays a Vermont Paris tenor. Anyone heard of that brand before?
