Anyone know of any? I thought mouthpiece heaven was across the river in NJ but I haven't seen an update on that website.

Dave Tondi was the guy running Mouthpiece Heaven last year and I went to his place to try a bunch of stuff. Nice guy. PM me for his email address.

Unfortunately, there are no other places around that I know off. The usual places like Sam Ash have Jody Jazz and maybe some Vandorens, Meyers and Links but nothing too sexy. Unless you're in to Jody Jazz. Good luck.

Bethlehem Music in Bethlehem, PA. A little ways but not as far as NY, I think. I don't know much more info but I've heard tales from fellow students who were able to try "every mouthpiece known to man" in the basement of the shop, with good pickin's at the best pieces.

Thanks for the great suggestions... It's funny, NYC is actually a lot more accessible for me than Bethlehem.

I called Dave Tondi today and he confirmed that he's in Washington State. Nonetheless, he sounded like a cool guy.
