I reckon I qualify as a late bloomer, since I took 20 years or so to run
from what's in my blood.
Got re-started on an old C-mel that my father refurbed for me to play out
of hymnals with.
Then I got a tenor, then a soprano.. Added Bari into the mix this past year
since it was the horn I stopped with when I was a kid.
So now I'm a late-blooming doubler on Bari and Flute, playing at church and
in a community band. One day I hope to be good enough to do more, but that
will have to wait until the youngsters are out of the house.
'Til then I'm just going to keep laying the foundation and working on improv.
see ya around the forum.
