How were these achieved? Are there any modern manufacturers producing horns with these finishes, or are there any platers doing this kind of work?

VMI used to make them under a few different brand names(Chicago Jazz, Allora, etc.)up until they stopped production a little while back. Yamaha has the shotblast Z's, Rampone and Cazzini has the "polished" silver and gold plate.........
